Valerie Zimring Schneiderman is an Olympic gymnast who began yoga practice 25 years ago. As the director, owner and lead teacher at The Yoga Shala in Connecticut, Valerie taught of a diverse community of students for over 15 years. Her keen interest in presenting yoga practices to competitive athletes in training led her to IMG Academy, where she shares her experience as a competitive athlete with a growing number of athletes in training.
