MiLB Hitting Coach, Baltimore Orioles
About this speaker
Going into his first season as the Keys Hitting Coach, Eller starts his second season as a member of the Orioles organization. Serving as the Hitting Coach for the South Atlantic League Delmarva Shorebirds before moving on to work with the newest draft class at Aberdeen in 2019. During his short stint with the Shorebirds, Eller helped the Shorebirds to a 1st place first half finish and the best record in all of professional baseball through June. The Shorebirds led the SAL in OBP, BB, BA and SB during his time. Eller then moved on to work with the Orioles newest draft class at Short Season A Aberdeen, where they finished top three in the league in home runs, slugging percentage and OPS. Previously, Eller spent 12 seasons as the Head Coach of the Harford Community College baseball team. There, he led the Fighting Owls to a 433-230-2 record and five Region XX Championships. He received his bachelor's degree from Wilmington University and his master's in sports management from Millersville University. Eller resides in Elkton, Md with his wife Kim, daughter Teagan (8) and son Redden, who was born in August 2019.
